Established in 2008, NALS offers Outdoor education, adventure activities, experiential learning programs, adventure infrastructure development and operation. The programs are perfectly suited for students, faculty, corporate, families and individuals. NALS offers these programs in FIVE locations in India - Coonoor, Coimbatore, Ooty, Manali & Ladakh.

NALS Mission

Our mission is to be the leading provider of Leadership training and adventure experience by combining training concepts from defence, corporate and mountaineering sectors. We strive to provide wholesome outdoor experience that will awaken the natural instinct and leadership skills of participants.

NALS Credentials
  • NALS is the first entity in India to offer adventure as a therapeutic tool for the persons with obesity, insecurity, high stress and troubled mind.
  • NALS has installed India’s first Wall Timer System in a Climbing Wall in Coimbatore - this system is fully designed and developed by NALS and superior features to import / export data.
  • NALS has received license from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as an APPROVED ADVENTURE TOUR OPERATOR.
  • Over 22,000 participants have visited NALS campuses and left behind overwhelmingly positive feedback.

NALS Team

Lt. Seshadri Venkatesan

NALS is headed by Lt. Seshadri Venkatesan, an ex-Naval Officer with 20 years experience in the armed forces as well as in private sector that specialized in dredging, fleet repair, structural engineering and ship management. Lt Seshadri has completed mountaineering courses from Directorate of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali.

Commander (Retired) AP Venkatesh

Commander (Retired) AP Venkatesh is a veteran with 22 years of service experience in various facets of the Indian Navy. The tenure included assignments on board warships, ship repair and design establishments. He is a product of the National Defence Academy and acquired his Masters degree from IAT Pune. He is an alumni from XLRI and also a fellow of the prestigious Staff College at DSSC Wellington. After the Navy tenure, he served Eurekha Forbes for 11 years and went on the head their Factory Operations as a VP

He has held senior positions with Pegasus as an Administrator and Facilitator and brings rich experience in the fields of education, corporate Leadership development to the table.

Outdoor Team of NALS

The outdoor team of NALS comes from many parts of India > West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh - they are highly qualified people in the field of mountaineering and carry with them zeal and enthusiasm to excel in respective areas.
